BUILDING BRIDGES OF COMMERCE
The Pittsburgh China Center promotes business development between China and Pittsburgh in key growth sectors, and positions the Pittsburgh Region as a primary U.S. destination for Chinese investment and growth.
- Fostering business and government links between China and Pittsburgh
- Advancing Pittsburgh as a U.S. executive management & media/marketing training center for Chinese executives
- Assisting Chinese companies to develop North American strategies, including technology and marketing partnerships, investment, mergers & acquisitions, media relations, and logistics
- Hosting visits by Chinese business or government delegations
- Providing resources to Chinese companies/organizations to start their U.S. operations including immigration, administrative support for Chinese executives, access to community resources, familiarization and relocation information
- Collaborating with the Chinese Embassy to promote connections between China and Pittsburgh
- Supporting but not duplicating other Pittsburgh China services
